Review on 🍲 Portable Foldable Electric Hot Pot Cooker - Dual Voltage 100V-240V Mini Kettle Food Grade Silicone Cookware for Boiling Water, Steaming, and Travel by Corey Owens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but works great (highly recommend)

+ Comes with steamer stand and spout for efficient water drainage + Compact and travel friendly (fits in the palm of my hand) + Cleans well despite silicone + Comes with multiple adapters for different outlets + fast cooking and two medium settings + can steam vegetables and cook rice (in a container you bought yourself) - expensive (probably cheaper if you come from a Chinese website and order in advance) - the spout comes standard with a type I Chinese Plug and bulkier when used with an adapter - less than expected - the height includes the handle when extended which was misleading. I used this to heat food in a hotel room during my 14 day quarantine and on 240v every day. I used a separate metal container for steaming instead of direct contact with the stove. Since the pot itself is small, I had to remove the steamer rack to fit in the containers I bought myself. It boils water very quickly (5 minutes) and tried to make instant noodles directly. Even though it was only once, it didn't stain or leave an odor. I like the 100-240v use case as I've tried this in both the US and Malaysia (similar to the UK voltage) and it works fine. It's more expensive, but it was just what I needed for quarantine in a non-microwave place. I would recommend it to frequent travelers who like to cook in hotel rooms while traveling light. The only complaint I have is that it's smaller than expected. When I measured the height before buying, I didn't include a handle, which means the pot itself is smaller. Despite the cons, it meets exactly the needs I bought it for and works perfectly. I would buy it again, maybe in a larger size without compromising the portability of the item.
