Foldable and easy to use. Cooks well on their way

Used in Africa. On my last trip I was ill. I don't trust the food at all. Getting sick while traveling is bad, it's debilitating. It's easy to use, but I wish the thermostat was on a low temp. It's hard to control the heat. Otherwise, it folds easily and is compact.

Ideal for traveling, I use 220V/50Hz in Argentina

I bought this hot pot to have hot water for my instant soup and to heat up instant rice. It doesn't take up much room on my back and is excellent for this purpose. The pot doesn't come with English instructions, but there really isn't much to learn and it's very easy to clean and store.

Actually used for camping, not only for traveling

Bought for overseas travel. It's quick and heats up well. We were in October, it was raining. I brought it with a french press for my morning coffee, but the pre-cooked sausage and onions needed reheating. Instead of fumbling with the platter and lighting the camp stove, I just added the sausage mixture, set it to high heat, and stirred. All is well. The hot sausage smelled good even though it got hot. I'll be taking it to London next year with the sweetened tea bags I found at Revain.

Handy camp stove

I like that it folds up for easy storage in a pull out camper. We went camping this weekend and used it to heat water for instant oatmeal. It's fast and very convenient. I love that it can also be used to reheat soups and steam vegetables. I wish the plug didn't require multiple adapters to work in the US. With electric level 110 only HALF of the heating plate works. The other half doesn't work. My potentiometer only has 3 settings: off, low and high. The product pictured also has a 4th heat…

Disappointed - Kitchen & Dining

I bought this to boil water on our boat and cook rice. Ideal for limited closet space. I was very excited after reading the reviews about boiling water in 5-6 minutes. I filled to the max line and set it to high. It never reached the boiling point, after 20 minutes it was steaming and almost boiling but never cooked. I opened a return case, they sent me another unit after someone from Revain called me with an issue. I got the second block and did the same as before, filled up to the max fill…

Great Travel Companion

This little guy has really enhanced my travel experience. I mainly used it as a rice cooker. Works great in this role. Just add rice and water. After cooking, the power will turn off automatically. Perfectly cooked rice every time. Goes well with jasmine and sushi rice. I've also used it for steamed dumplings and dim sum. As another reviewer pointed out, the only downside to this device is the lack of a lower temperature setting. Even at slow speeds, the water boils violently. Soup preparation…

MISTAKE PURCHASE: Small appliances

At first I was glad of the package because I was going to travel abroad and I needed something like this to boil water. I used the product for 12 days in a row, 3-4 times a day just to boil water and on the 13th day it started behaving strangely and at first I tried unplugging the power cord and plugging it back into the wall plugged in, and then I've tried unplugging the power cord from the cooker overnight and then plugging it back into the cooker and back into the wall, both attempts didn't…

Expensive but works great (highly recommend)

+ Comes with steamer stand and spout for efficient water drainage + Compact and travel friendly (fits in the palm of my hand) + Cleans well despite silicone + Comes with multiple adapters for different outlets + fast cooking and two medium settings + can steam vegetables and cook rice (in a container you bought yourself) - expensive (probably cheaper if you come from a Chinese website and order in advance) - the spout comes standard with a type I Chinese Plug and bulkier when used with an…
