They are better than what you can get in most parts.
It is definitely worth spending a lot more on these ignition coils. Initially, I bought some cheap Chinese non-brands. Not only did they fail within a few months, but they caused a whole host of other problems that resulted in over $400 to repair my 1st gen Prius. It's better than the ones you can get at most parts stores. A bit pricey but we're worth it.
