Wish I had used this from the start rather than drilling and tapping the oil pan (still slowly dripping upon completion). This fixed my leaky plug in no time and also didn't create any aluminum shavings to clean. The included epoxy putty needs to be kneaded for a few minutes before use, it has no direction, so it's easy to understand why some people say it crumbles. - because it will happen if you don't mix it properly first. I used JB Weld instead - the regular type is rated for 500 degrees Fahrenheit and has the best consistency for getting into threads. The magnetic connector works great and is pretty easy to pull out with any old pair of pliers. Includes rubber pad for extra security. No leaks. Cons: 1. I worry that one day the mechanic will never see any of them and turn the nut, destroying the perfect seal, even though it could be restored from scratch with a different installation. So I added a laminated epoxy label with the word "PULL" on the center cap. I will also mix up some red epoxy and paint the walnut.2. The geometry of the cone means that the bottom of the oil in the sump is 1/8 inch and any associated sediment will not drain. Finally dry!
