Don't buy the best heaters

This thing was completely meaningless. It doesn't generate enough heat to defrost anything other than a small plate-sized circle on the windshield. It made an awful noise and when I tried to turn it off the part that plugs into the cigarette lighter in your car was SO HOT I could barely touch it! Am I lucky it didn't explode and damage my car? Seems dangerous.
