Saved me a bajillion dollars!

I bought a used 2008 Prius last summer and about a week later the fan motor started going crazy. The old "hit the dash" method worked, but I knew I'd have to replace it eventually because it's a very common Prius problem, but then it's easy. has stopped. Almost a whole year! I thought maybe I'd get some good karma or do something to please the gods of the Prius. But then, of course, on the first 90+ hot day of the year, he started behaving again. The dashboard didn't work this time, but I put off spending money on a replacement for weeks. During this time I managed to pick out the glove box on my own (I omitted the screws for convenience), removed the cabin filter, put the old wiper in the blower and pressed the blades. with a janitor to start it. It worked fine, but since I had to either pull off the road or do it while driving, it became quite dangerous and onerous. So I finally bit the bullet and bought this one. After a very annoying day of hanging upside down trying not to inhale pneumoconiosis and trying to discover a bolt that was brutally ripped off by the last person to do it, my new fan motor is up and running! It's been about a month and I haven't had any problems. Perfect fit, easiest fit possible for the horrible Prius fan motor location and very fast delivery within 1 day. Very happy with my purchase!
