Hope that was the solution. nope

My original remote worked but I could only see the screen if I put a light on it and held the remote at the right angle. I understand that the screen is bad. I bought this remote control thinking it would be an improvement. nope Just like the original. The LCD display is not backlit. Basically useless crap.
