UPDATE: 2013-02-20: Just bought a second one, the first one is put on the bathroom floor :) Still LOVE IT! I HATE! HATE steel wool for cleaning. Whatever the packaging says, they will rust and fall apart. All other synthetic rubbers are useless. They are strong yet flexible. I've been using this rug for about a month now, constantly in the kitchen. Dirty cast-iron pans, glass bottoms, cookie sheets that stick to the gunk on your table, you name it, it cleans it. Best of all, don't you hate it when your steel wool, copper or other pillow fills up with leftovers? He's stuck there until he forms his own bacterial nation! They are thin enough that no food gets stuck in them. Rinse quickly - and there is no residue on it. No matter how I twist or fold it to clean it, it always returns to its original shape. Looks black after cleaning the cast iron skillet, but turns purple again after rinsing. The curved ends are also pleasant to the touch. Today it still looks like new. Being a 3M product I was sure it would be decent. It's better than decent. Good product. UPDATE: I still love it! BUT bread dough is difficult to remove even under hot running water. Eventually it will clean up, but I don't like things getting stuck in it. But the best damn little mop. It's not just for the kitchen.
