This hair dryer feels lighter and quieter than most. I have fairly thick long hair that takes 10 minutes to dry. I haven't noticed any noticeable reduction in drying time compared to my previous dryer. And this one gets really hot! My only complaint (reason for the overall score of 3/5) is that the hub pops out very easily during use. When I nudge my hair with the nozzle, even if it's very gently, the concentrator pops out immediately. This is very annoying, especially when that part is too hot to pick up and put back on. I often have to use a towel to pick it up off the floor and reattach it. If it had been done better to hold the essay in place I would happily give it 5 out of 5. But the hub that pops up a few times while I'm trying to get ready is just too annoying. managed to avoid. However, if you don't use a concentrator when drying your hair, then I would recommend this product.
