Review on 🎧 Enhance Transcription Precision with the ECS WordHear-O USB Transcription Headset: Innovative Under-Chin Design by Evan Austin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great sound, a bit annoying to wear

They sound amazingly clear. There are a few things I don't care about. First off, the built-in volume control is a zip-tie heavy enough to pull the earpiece out of the user's ear. There's a clip to reduce the weight of the headset, but it annoys me that my phones are clipped to my shirt all the time (a very minor annoyance, of course, but it still bothers me). Second, for one reason or another, a hum starts to appear in the audio. I don't know if it's a problem with the headset or my USB ports. Switching from one port to another "reset" it and the glitch is gone, but I then have to wait for the headset to be recognized by the computer, reinstall the driver, reset the speakers to reset the headset from the default listen to headset - a significant disruption. Again, I'm not sure if this is due to the headset, but it doesn't occur with my other USB kits. However when it works properly the sound is the clearest of all my headsets and as long as the clip is used the headset is very light and I love that it comes with interchangeable ear pads.
