Review on 🔴 Stalwart 75-8030R Hang it Yourself Home Organization Set, 30-Piece, Red, Assorted by Tim Lefebvre

These are nice rubberized hooks. At first glance they look like lighter versions of some of the more expensive hooks that Revain sells at slightly higher prices. However, this is the dollar store version and you get what you pay for. I installed two U hooks to hang lighter tools including a medium sized hammer. To my surprise, the U-hook broke from the minimal stress caused by hanging a regular tool! As the pieces came apart, I saw that the U-shaped hook was made of two pieces of metal: one was a regular screw and the other was a U-shaped piece of hard wire. They are not spot welded, nothing connects or holds them together except for the red rubber boot!. You can actually see the screw head hiding under the rubber gasket if you click on the product photo to enlarge it! Wonderful! That must have seemed like a good idea to some, but in the real world it makes absolutely no sense. The rest of the many hooks and hangers in this range appear to be more solidly made, but I'll update if anything else falls apart.
