A few years ago we installed brand new outdoor freezing faucets to replace 20 year old faucets that needed careful maintenance. When I connected the hose to one of the faucets, it leaked. I was unhappy because I thought it would be expensive to call a plumber, so instead I started searching YouTube (yes, it's a verb now) for how to fix the problem. a leaky faucet and found that I could easily fix the float myself. I'm a 43 year old female and had to google twice to find out exactly what a specific tool is (I'm not handy at all) and my husband had to loosen his hat because I wasn't strong enough to do it on my own. However, it was easy to replace the float with this kit and our hose is working great and there are no leaks. I paid less than $10 and spent 15 minutes doing something that a plumber would surely charge me over $200 to do.
