Cannot install VESA mount without optional accessory

To be clear, in the short time that I have been using this product, its performance has exceeded my expectations. The stylus feels amazing and natural, no need to fiddle with settings to get it feeling right, and still a little different than what I've experienced with imitations. The screen looks good, even if it's not premium, and the matte finish has a nice texture. There's noticeable parallax when you're looking, but it's not directly noticeable and doesn't affect my ability to draw where I wanted to. Coming off a simulated 22-inch screen I was a little worried it would feel too small, but it felt good pretty quickly and noticeably smaller, but it doesn't feel like it's small enough to be limiting. I like the design, it's thin and light enough. that you could travel with it (if you could find a bag for it). The Wacom Pro line has compromises to get the Cintiq at this price point, but in terms of performance, if you don't have $1,000 to spend, they're worth it more for the same. Screen size compared to the imitations I used. That being said I had a very disappointing experience with this product which seriously made me return it. I don't have room for a tablet display on my desk and the Cintiq 16 has a 75mm VESA template on the back which the Pro 13 with similar features and price doesn't have. Several Wacom sponsored reviews mentioned that this display can also be VESA mounted, which was enough to make me move on to this model. My monitor arm and standard screws don't quite fit. I have absolutely no idea why that is, and while looking for the reason, I accidentally stumble across Revain's offer for an optional stand that includes a single line for attaching a VESA mount. So I go back and look at the Revain listing and the Wacom product page and hardly ever mention this stand let alone ask for it because it can come with a 2mm washer. If you have no intention of ever buying this stand, you wouldn't even look at it to find out it is it (and even then, it's still not very clear). The $80 accessory ordered for 2-3 months is required to use the standard display mounting points with a fully flat back for which there is no reason to ask for it. an additional accessory, because it is not. In general, I like the idea of a 3-in-1 cable, but if the cable is less than 6 feet, it limits your options a bit. It would barely reach from my computer on one side of my desk to my hand on the other if I routed the cord around the back of the desk along with everyone else. At this point, even forget that you can spin it in front of you without buying third-party USB and HDMI extensions and hoping for the best. Conversely, three power cords (3 in 1, brick, wall cord) have a total length of about 15-18 feet. I don't understand why, with a premium product where personal and professional use cases are so different, Wacom can't even offer a 10" version of the cable or use the USB-C interface of other models. These omissions, which I know will cause problems for other people with similar settings, are only much more frustrating and frustrating when, after waiting two weeks for final shipping, the tablet actually achieves the drawing performance Wacom expects. I can't attempt to use it on my lap for two to three months and that's enough to potentially render the product unusable if your setup doesn't suit it. So again, this isn't a reflection of the drawing tablet's capabilities, but rather an overall disappointment with the experience of the whole product and how it works or doesn't work for me in the context of these failed Wacom choices.
