First of all, a trimmer has never really been useful, not even for facial hair. It just didn't have enough power and it took multiple hits to the same area to cut anything. I used big scissors for everything. My expectations were low so I wasn't disappointed. God, when the big clippers worked, I thought they were great. Unfortunately, after 2 years of modest and light use, the device completely failed, just stopped working. Support initially responded within 72 hours. I figured it was normal as I wasn't dealing with a particularly expensive item. But after 3 weeks in the repair department I get no response from them. The 5-year warranty sounds great, but I guess part of the deal is you really have to return the refurbished device? Otherwise, what's the point. I was quite frustrated with getting the clippers back and it's a shame because I've always valued Wahl hair clipping products.
