Review on Harold Import Co. Chinois Pestle, Wood, Cone-Shaped, 8-Inches, Natural by Tressy Rakowiecka

I bought this Chinese coffee to filter coffee grounds when making cold coffee and it works fantastic! I make cold brew with finely ground coffee, so the particles are pretty small. I used the Chinois without any other filter just to see how many grounds would happen (I expected a lot of grounds) and almost everything was captured by the Chinois. I was shocked! I ran the coffee through the chinois 2 more times and it picked up the entire rest of the set. As a final check, I lined the chinoise with four layers of gauze and poured the coffee one last time. All I got was a speck of coffee particles on the gauze. The Chinese did all the necessary filters without gauze! I'm excited.
