This panini press was meant to replace the little one I've had for the last 15 years. I am pleasantly surprised at how easily it heats up and is ready to use. I can comfortably fit two small sandwiches in it side by side at a time, so I've saved half the time I used with my old one. being careful not to push the cheese or meat out of the sandwich as it is pressed. The grid marking on the sandwich and the intense heat of the device really transforms an ordinary sandwich into a gourmet sandwich from heaven! Buy some gourmet bread when I'm done with it. I recommend this gadget to everyone!
