Works but often clogs

I have a Ridgid 16 gal. Shop vacuum cleaner 6.5-Peak HP, which I bought it for. I'm renovating a house I just bought and I'm tired of cleaning the filter due to drywall and wood dust. At first I was very impressed, the filter remained flawless. Annoyingly, it works so well that it clogs and sticks to the FilterPal. I had to shake off the dust 2-3 times a day with normal vacuuming. The fit is also a little off. The FilterPal was too long and didn't wrap very tightly around the filter. I ended up taking it off, maybe I'll try it or use it in the future.

Pros
