I am a radio amateur and I use to be a radio speaker at various races and cycling events. This vest is very suitable for that. I carry two radios with me, the vest fits both and has a pocket for a notepad and pencil. Different sizes of radios can be used by adjusting the Velcro strap that wraps around the back of the device. Also, the vest keeps the radios close to your chest so you don't drop them when you bend down to pick something up. I use a Nagoya antenna that sticks out about 17 inches on one of my radios and a rubber ducky on my spare radio and I put my mic in the middle since the fabric is stiffer there. For what I do, this is the best funk vest for me.
