Other reviews have correctly stated that the 2000 LED version is a very warm white. Also correct is the fact that the converter states that it is only suitable for indoor use. If you're looking for a very warm white, these are great. If you're looking for something cooler, the 1000 LED version might be for you. The reindeer shown in the picture is illuminated with Holiday Time warm white LED mini lights. You can clearly see that these two versions of warm white are very far apart in color temperature. Although the power converter says it's for indoor use only, I chose to put the converter and any extra cables in a ziploc bag and then cover them up. inside with a decorative outdoor Christmas present attached to the floor (see image). This has worked for me in the past and I don't expect any problems with this setup. The lighting looks great, the LEDs are dense, and it was pretty easy to wrap the first 7 feet of my log. These lamps met all my expectations.
