The stand is extremely practical as it can be folded completely and even comes with a bag for storage. It's also light enough to be carried in a briefcase or backpack. The material (metal) is very durable and includes anti-slip lines to keep your electronics in place. You can also adjust the height and angle (to an extent). I think it's worth it for the price. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the "feet" on both sides for height and angle adjustment are not connected horizontally and are a bit annoying to adjust. When I tried to adjust one side of the base, the "leg" on the opposite side fell off when I lifted the base as nothing was holding it in place. In fact, you have to adjust the "leg" on each side individually. However, this is a minor issue. Once you set it to the right height and angle it works great.
