Boar hairbrush, any.
Literally my favorite tallow/fat based shaving soap. I have read most of the comments and the Q&A and as always I have received a lot of amazing information. However, along with dampening this soap before lathering, I would recommend a standard boar hairbrush. The hardness creates a wonderful foam! Boar hair is a classic tallow soap brush. Check out Parker or Proraso for $20, you can't go wrong. (Sorry if someone suggested this in a previous post.)
