Review on πŸ’§ PureSec 2-Way Kitchen Faucet Diverter Valve/Splitter with Female M22(β‰ˆ22mm) Thread and 1/4 OD RO Tubing Outlet for Countertop Water Filter by Corey Kim

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly! As long as your tubing is 3/8 inch OD, you don't need clamps.

Water leaks quickly through both the filtered and unfiltered side. The unfiltered side has a good aerator. Only downside is we forget to move the lever back to the unfiltered side when we're done filtering. Last thing we had in 5 years was a train shift and she had an internal spring that always returns to the unfiltered position. page automatically. Unfortunately the inner o-ring popped out when the connection was squeezed during filtration and is not intended to be removed for service or o-ring replacement and is not available from Revain. I prefer using a diverter valve rather than directing water into the filter as it doesn't leave the filter at high pressure all the time. Many 1 star water filter reviews mention that their filter exploded or fell apart resulting in serious water damage. This happens to all Rs manufacturers My current filter installation is via a Dupont Quick Twist WFQT135009X filter for single stage drinking water filtration system and fitted 3/8" OD hoses from the filter hose to connect to this diverter valve. Unfortunately, the local hardware store no longer stocks Dupont. Replacement filter is 3000QT but they have a Culligan RC-EZ-1 that will work if the cartridge is slightly modified. The Culligan is missing a slot. Some use a dremel but I used a knife heated over a flame to cut away the plastic. to create the missing slot. Not for the faint of heart, but works great.
