I love that this Roku has an ethernet port. In my house, a wired connection is much more reliable than Wi-Fi for streaming to big screens. There's also a USB port, which I suspect is for an external keyboard to make entering credentials easier, but I haven't tried it yet. The remote control connects to the TV to adjust the volume, and you can also use headphones with the remote control. It's very easy to set up. The only thing I don't like is that the remote seems to go to sleep after an hour or so. For example, when a movie is on and it's time to switch to another program, I need to "wake up" the remote control by removing and reinserting the battery. Then it works perfectly again. My old cheaper Roku didn't have this problem, just had to press the home button to wake it up. Yes I've tried pressing Home, Power, OK, Cursor arrows, Netflix and Hulu buttons and none of them work. You have to open the back and pull out the battery to wake it up. Well, not the end of the world.
