Very powerful 12V motion detection light. It has no gasket for attachment. I used sea silicone and left a small hole at the bottom just in case. I didn't like the seal around the lamp, so I smeared it with silicone as well. There is an adjustment of the location of the lamp for the installation of motion detectors. There is also a separate cable that you can use to activate other elements. Has no switch. My camper didn't have a switch to turn on the lamp so I had to add a switch. When switched on and off, it works like a normal lamp. You need to do a quick on-off-on to set the motion detector. In daylight, this can be seen from the blinking of the blue LED. or green LED at night. He lifts about 30 feet as received. Customer service was incredible! My unit arrived with a lamp that was detached from the base (cable disconnected), contacted Starlights via email and I quickly received a new lamp. No problems, very friendly service.
