My first Venza had to be replaced due to horrific scratches on the head unit, windshield and driver's glass. I immediately started looking for a screen protector. So a new machine would not have such a problem! I don't know why Venza screens get scratched so easily. But they scratch! When I received it, it arrived 3 weeks earlier than I was originally told.
