This alarm does the job. I have an old car and people often check the doors to see if they are open and look for money or something. It's sensitive enough that if I put it in the driver's door pocket and turn the alarm on, the alarm goes off when I put the key in the lock. The remote also seems to have a decent range. If the alarm is in the car and I'm about 25 feet away, she can turn the alarm on or off. I am satisfied and would buy one again at any time.
