Issue with volume for my opinion
There is really no "in between" with it. I turn it on, and absolutely no volume until you hit max volume, at which point even the most tranquil sound is downright disturbing. Someone heard it and took it for herself, claiming she could use the noise to drown out traffic when she sleeps during the day. I hope it works out for her. I was going to return it, assuming it was defective otherwise. The quality of the sounds were actually quite nice, but there was something wrong with my unit for sure.
