Review on 🏞️ Leviton 4986-GY Gray Oversize Weather-Resistant Wallplate: Duplex Device Cover with Thermoplastic Design for Horizontal Device Mounting by Donnie Boss

I bought this wall panel to replace the one that destroyed itself. I would have bought a different type but knew this would be a quick replacement with no modifications. The last one lasted about 10 years which sounds like a long time but I feel like I'll never have to replace something like this. Why aren't they made of metal or at least with UV stabilizers. Installation is quite a hassle as you have to hold the spring loaded covers open to get the screw in. Once installed, the lids are heavily loaded by the springs when you plug something in.
