I ordered this phone mount for my mountain bike because I finally got tired of pulling my phone out of my backpack to see exactly where I was on the trail. I don't trust my pockets when riding through mud and water, so I get it. Unless I'm completely submerged (then I'm in really big trouble) I should be fine. I had a faint glimmer of hope that I could get it to work with my GSX-R 600 as well, but since it's a triple clamp and clip-ons (a common sportbike setup), I vowed not to fret not working. . will not work. The mountain bike setup took less than a minute. This item is RELIABLE. Amazing quality and I am already very impressed with it. The kit includes several rubber rings and an extension for different settings. While not really available for a child to install a triple clamp, a mirror is a great alternative. They usually sit hunched over with the phone mount up, which is perfect for your look. This is a solid setup for both of my bikes. I'm very glad it worked. Maybe over time I'll find a way to attach it to a triple clamp, but the mirror setup is great for road bikes with clip-on bars instead of traditional bars. Highly recommended!
