Fits easily in stock with correct muffler
If you look at the Walker website you will see that it only fits the stock muffler (54251), at least the 2001 Saturn SL1 that I used it on . It fitted perfectly into the tripod mount socket. The only wish is for the clamp bolt to be placed closer to the top of the muffler. While the lower position makes it easy to install, it does sag a little and I'm concerned it might catch on something where it's sitting.
