Use only LOW pressure!

4 stars because there were no instructions and I was a beginner. I just started using cast iron and have had it for 3 months now. It has worked fine to this day when I scraped the patina off the pan from double folding and pressing too hard. Otherwise it worked fine until I decided to scrub off the dirt. Application Tip: Although the cast iron will be warm to the touch, use it by spreading the kosher salt as an abrasive and gently pressing until it comes loose. A few drops of water when dry to make it work (a few drops of salt or else it won't work either).
