Perfect for the serious hobbyist

Assembly is fairly easy if you look closely at the pictures. Also READ the instructions for correct use. This is a well made, high quality and accurate tool that takes a little PRACTICE. The cutting knives must have the correct spring pressure depending on the thickness and material to be cut. Using the right blade helps. Make sure the blade is installed correctly. I am a fashion designer and I cut masking foil, cardboard, paper and plastic wrap. Each of them uses different blades. It cuts plastic up to 0.4mm thick, which is the thickest I've ever used. I use Evergreen plastic wrap. I usually do two or three turns to ensure a perfect cut across the material. The diameter can be easily adjusted exactly as desired. It just takes a little patience and always a test cut first. This tool is designed for extremely precise work and must be used correctly. The circle in the middle (donut hole) as well as the outside can be used as needed. Both have sharp, sharp cuts and NO pin hole in the middle like traditional circular cutters. If you are a serious hobbyist this is a great tool that will last a lifetime. It weighs 14 ounces. and has a rubber base to keep it secure while cutting. Circles with a diameter of 1 mm to 50 mm are formed. As a model maker, I can carve masks for aircraft instruments even in 1/72 scale.
