I have collected three of these over the last few years. They have a slight sheen and I find their colors perfect for complementing a variety of outfits. They have an elegance that I like to play with. I machine wash them gently, in a laundry bag, and then let them air dry - they hold up well. They're not too heavy or too light, but since it's south Texas I don't try to use them indoors in the summer - one coat will do in this case. For me it works best for the other three seasons and usually as a shawl in the dead of winter with my sweaters.
