Wislon Tour Slam Review ($30 item)

This is my first impression of this product, I will update my review after playing a few games. The racquet is slightly different from other racquets. It's slightly taller and narrower, giving it more of an "egg" shape than regular products. Such a good quality product for its price. I ordered a size 4 3/8 and it fits my arm (I'm 5ft 7in). The strings are standard tennis strings, thin and taut (TUTT strings are required for beginners looking for a cheap racquet for the first time. Your racquet strings should move little or not at all). The racquet is heavy on the bottom and can be quite difficult for a beginner, but you'll get used to it after a few days (remember to practice with the racquet a few times to get used to the feel). The racquet is equipped with a "stop shaft" that reduces the impact load on the racquet. This will reduce the vibrations but you will still hear them. UPDATE: It's been about a week since I received this racket. I played it every day to get the maximum potential. At first I gave this racquet 5 stars, but then I checked it out and didn't play with it. I strongly disagree with those who say this racket is for beginners. I would recommend the Lite version (Wilson Tour Slam Lite) as it is lighter and costs less. The racket is heavy, especially for beginners. I've been playing tennis for a while but this racquet is making my arms/arms tired and causing pain in my wrists. As a beginner, ALWAYS LOOK FOR A LIGHT RACKET (EVEN IF YOU'RE ON A BUDGET). Opt for anything under 10.5 ounces if you don't want to endure hours of wrist pain and forearm fatigue. The racquet does not swing quickly and the ground is heavy. The ball will fly towards you, imprecisely. It takes at least a week to aim and this racquet has too much power. Too much racquet power is bad for beginners because they can't control where they hit, so I recommend a light racquet. The bat also emits a long PING! when I hit it, so don't forget to buy a dampener. The grip is 7/10 and the racquet looks very good. The strings are similar to Walmart and are cheap. This racket is not worth the money, I would save up to buy a $50 or $70 racket. If you are not willing to pay enough money for a good racquet, you will not be good at tennis. The only other budget options I see that are good for beginners are the Wilson Tour Slam Lite or Wilson Federer, but be aware they may not get you the results you want.
