Preserved after 4 months

I gave this to my son for his birthday in August so that he will be ready for tennis in the spring. He used it a few times before it got cold and liked it. We got him a new bag for Christmas and when he pulled it out to put in the new bag it warped! The return window was of course only one month. money wasted. Lesson learned. Choose a different racquet.

GREAT CHOICE FOR BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED

MY WIFE AND WE REFURBISHED A 10 YEAR OLD PRINCE RACKET TO THIS WILSON. MY GRIP 4 3/8, HER 4 1/4. WE JUST PLAY FOR FUN AND TRAINING. WE DO NOT HAVE A RANKING AND ONLY PLAY OUTDOORS IN FAVORABLE WEATHER. THESE RACKETS ARE LIGHTWEIGHT, DURABLE, DELICATE AND FORGIVENESS. BOTH OUR GAMES IMPROVED WITH THIS WILSON. VERY SATISFIED. I would say it's a good choice for beginner to intermediate level.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not sure

Great beginner's racquet

I bought this racquet to get back into tennis and have been using it for almost a year. I have played over 50 single sessions (over 1 hour each) with this game. The grip/strings are still holding. I didn't know if I would play tennis again, but I did. My next racquet will probably cost over $100 for the amount I get from the sport. If you experience water like me, then this is for you. Not the best, obviously, but does the job.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Great racquet for beginners

I bought this racquet for my 14 year old daughter. She previously used a junior-sized racquet. This is a good racket at a good price. I didn't want to buy her a very expensive racquet as she is new to tennis. This is fully compliant. This makes for a big sweet spot and the good amount of energy she needs. If she continues to play tennis I think she can use it for a few years before wanting to buy another one. I recommend this racket for beginners.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Requires socket

Goods: - Nice feel - Rigid frame - Good power - Good value for money - Comfortable grip - Good construction - Pre-strung Bads: - No, this racket and it is really a good racquet for beginners and intermediate with a good price-performance ratio. The racquet has good feel and power for this price range. The frame is rigid and does not deform much when hitting the ball. The grip is comfortable and soft. Overall, I would recommend this racquet to beginner and intermediate players. **Disclosure: I…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

Solid beginner's racquet

This is a perfectly acceptable adult beginner's racquet. I only started training 4 months ago and everything was fine for a start. As others have pointed out, this is NOT a lightweight racket. So if beginner = kid, as is often the case, you might want to look elsewhere. That being said, the main reason I wanted to present this review is to strongly recommend that no one buying this considers this a long-term solution. That said, once you've had a few lessons and/or are comfortable landing shots

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great racquet for beginners but the grip is a little wobbly

I bought two of these racquets for me and my girlfriend to start playing tennis as a beginner. They are very light and have a slightly larger racquet surface area than other "standard" racquets, making it easier to hit the ball. It's not much bigger than the racquets that other people use on the tennis courts we play on, so it wasn't just our racquets that caught our attention as newcomers (I think our level of play gave us away). In any case, they also fit very well in my JanSport backpack…

Pros
  • 1 year trial

Wislon Tour Slam Review ($30 item)

This is my first impression of this product, I will update my review after playing a few games. The racquet is slightly different from other racquets. It's slightly taller and narrower, giving it more of an "egg" shape than regular products. Such a good quality product for its price. I ordered a size 4 3/8 and it fits my arm (I'm 5ft 7in). The strings are standard tennis strings, thin and taut (TUTT strings are required for beginners looking for a cheap racquet for the first time. Your racquet…
