Way to migrate a 1TB HDD to a 512GB boot SSD drive on a Dell 5570

I was able to get a super slow 1TB boot HDD drive on a Dell 5570 Migrate a Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M .2 SSD with this adapter. The HDD only had 200GB of data, so I used a 500GB SSD and I was able to transfer the OS and all the data to the SSD using Minitool's cloning feature with the BIOS settings, so I unplugged the HDD after the cloning was complete , because the motherboard settings were loaded to the HDD when both the HDD and the SSD were connected. No problem, I leave the disk offline as a backup to restore when needed.
