I plan to use it mainly for cycling. The helmet is too small for my 63cm male head but fits my 10 year old son and wife perfectly. What I like about this helmet is the lack of fabric, plastic rim. The more expensive, "professional" brand of helmet we use has a cloth rim with Velcro closures. It keeps coming off and getting dirty and I keep gluing or tape it in place. This helmet is slightly wider than other helmets I have and slightly shorter (front and back). Therefore, if you have an oval or narrow head, you may find too much room on the sides and tightness on the forehead and back of the head. The limited padding is very thin so you will definitely feel a poor fit every second. Excellent material, workmanship, styling and highly adjustable straps complete a stunning helmet. Highly recommended.
