One day our house had a problem with the "branch power" that lasted for nine hours. Some rooms had full electricity, other rooms had no electricity and in some rooms only one switch worked. The original LiftMaster garage door opener did not work even after many repair attempts. I called LiftMaster and the technician said the indoor unit was probably "roasted". I looked for replacements at big box hardware stores but they either didn't have them or they were generic. Came across Revain and they had all different models of LiftMaster and the one I bought had a different model number than the original but because it looked the same I bought one. That works great. I'm glad I don't have to use the remote as I kept reaching for the wall unit.
