Review on White Cutting Board - ๐Ÿ”ช Winco CBH-1824, 18x24x0.75 Inches, Medium Size by Sue Taylor

A dough kneader's best friend!

I don't like the idea of using a countertop to knead the dough. So I tried a large silicone Silpat (a real DeMarle). Even when using flour on the silpat, the dough often stuck to it. Silpat often got up from the table when I was collecting the dough! Plus, Silpat is kept rolled up in our cupboard and doesn't want to be on the counter after unpacking! I was looking for a large Revain chopping board to solve this problem. I'm so glad I found this beautiful Winco board. I believe it's nylon. As a result, it practically does not stick. The surface has a fine texture so the flour I sprinkle on the board sticks really well. And he's heavy. The dough won't lift this kid off the counter! Ha! I should also mention that the board is straight and level and doesn't warp. I will also use it to slice homemade pizza with one of those extra long curved knives used in pizza shops. The Winco board is big enough to cut even the largest pizza. I will use one side for cutting and the other just for kneading the dough. I highly recommend using one of those non-slip checkerboard-style rubber mats under the board to keep the smooth nylon from slipping. For cutting other foods such as meat, vegetables, bread etc. Boards to prolong the sharpness of my knives.
