First, let me acknowledge that experiences vary. I'm a die-hard Altra fan, street, trail, work, you name it! The Instinct was a great running shoe. So good they dropped it. I tried and it's just bad shoes. There is a slope in the shoes, so steep that I took out the insoles. The lacing is odd and the shoe feels poorly constructed. You might find others who like it, and that's okay. For me it was a waste of money.
