I really liked the fit. I liked the quality and I liked the fact that my GoldenDoodle loved trying it on. He arrived just in time. We live in the US thunderstorm capital of Florida and we know rain. This raincoat worked so well that I'm ordering a size up as my dog is still growing and I don't want to come back and realize it's too late to go up a size. As this is a long thick coat dog, if his hair needs trimming, he gets 2 sizes larger than after the groom, and one size smaller is ideal. I mentioned using it on an ambulance dog that will be registered soon! Even his harness fits! It's so important to meet all of our needs, it's so hard to find all of your needs. It has everything but one important thing that I wanted and that is a detachable hood. And another chance of velcro would be a big HELP. I will be watching this company to see if they offer a hoodie style. The highly recommended size is an important measurement for your dog. Don't think I'm telling all my canine friends to buy these.
