I've had a more expensive rangefinder for the last 6 years but the light was getting weaker and the company I got it from wanted, that I sent it back to them to either fix it or send a new one. Bought as it was relatively cheap and reviews seemed solid. When I first used it on the golf course it always lost everything I hit, it was so annoying. I didn't think for a second it was a range finder. Played again, same thing. I went to the golf course to check out the yards. The range finder showed me the distance from 8 to 12 yards. I downloaded an app for my phone/smartwatch and started using it to compare distances by looking at the rangefinder readings to see what it says and again the distances I got were the Range finder indicated lower. A par 3 hole had a sign on the box that said 155, the hole was slightly higher than the mound and the pin was placed at the back, the distance the range finder gave me was 138, the distance that gave me the app/clock showed was 162. I've used it with and without tilt and just stopped using it. I tried to go the cheaper route and buy a cheap range finder just for this summer, actually I should have gone cheaper and bought the app instead. It's easy to use and I liked the quick vibration it gave when it was mounted on the stylus, but what's the use of not giving you the right spacing? It's too late to return it, otherwise I would have done it.
