Gone are the days when every computer required a floppy disk drive to run games, media, write and record. Computers almost never come with hard drives for storage these days, and the internet has taken over. Sometimes I like to run old DVD and CD games that I saved years ago and also need a drive for burning and image and video burning. I took a chance and bought it during a lighting deal and am very impressed. At first I was impressed by how light it is. It has a good sense of build quality. Has a smooth metal surface. It connects via USB and uses 3.0 for faster speeds. When I ran Windows 10 on my newly built PC, it was recognized immediately. In 10 seconds I was already watching a movie on DVD and also playing old computer games. When everything is ready, I simply unplug the USB cable, plug it into a dedicated slot, and save it for later use. For this price I can only recommend it!
