I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars for this one because it has some mounting flaws - instructions don't help much and that Yoke moved back into the gap before tightening just enough to stop the movement. However, for the price, you can't beat it and I'm really surprised at how well it works. Partly through my own fault, I was reading a headline that said "Universal" and thought my Porter Cable network grinder would work. It didn't help, but my cordless Craftsman V20 did and I decided to give my project a try before spending money on another grinder. I only had to sand down an area less than 4x4 foot board for a shower tray and luckily the cordless model worked fine although I had to recharge the battery. I've used an industrial vacuum behind a cyclone separator and the dust collection was near perfect as confirmed by my particle counter (I want to make sure the air is clean or my wife will come in and inhale a lungful of silica dust). You should still wear a respirator when you're indoors, but you might not even need one outside. FYI, I have in my arsenal a store-bought 1.5" hose for a medium-sized vacuum with a rubber tip that fits snugly with little persuasion, so luckily I didn't have to fiddle with any adapters. Now we come to the title of my review. If you need to get right to the edge, get a 5" wheel as the sliding window only leaves a gap with the 4" wheel. I need to be sure not to overload my (wired when I originally planned it) grinder. When I was almost done I decided I needed to make sure the edges (about 3/4 inch or so I think) were prepared as well, so I removed the hood - and replaced the regular guard! - and gone An hour later, that dust that made the air noticeably cloudy in a matter of seconds is still being slowly pulled out of my bathroom by a fan. So yes. If edges are important, buy at least a 5-inch finish wheel. I'd still probably just use a 4" wheel for regular work unless you have a big 11 amp mains grinder.
