Works great the first time.

Works Out Of The Box; However, it didn't fit my 4.5 inch Makita grinder perfectly. At the time my model was listed on the description page but now they seem to have changed the description. It makes sense; I used a clamp washer/ring but was only able to set it 3/32" to 1/8". After tightening the auger/hose clamp and trying to align it with a grinding wheel and adjust it a bit more by adding some tape here and there, it worked great. I would say my favorite factor is the amount of dust it…

I do not recommend for Makita 4.5

My experience was very similar to the reviewer's December 2020 STN. /8 inches at best. There is no click. You need to tighten that 1/8 inch as tight as you can and then fight any vibration and uncertainty. It's just not worth it. My connection broke and changed everywhere. There is little fun in using such a dangerous piece of equipment as an angle grinder. Eventually I removed the adapter, replaced it with one that was as square and firm as possible, and found that the only way to do this was…

BUY A 5 INCH GRINDING CUP if angles are important to your project

I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars for this one because it has some mounting flaws - instructions don't help much and that Yoke moved back into the gap before tightening just enough to stop the movement.
