Works but must have a long strap

This bag definitely works. However, given the weight of hoverboards, I would recommend spending a few bucks more for a bag with a long (shoulder) strap so you can carry it over your shoulder. You can only carry these by the handles, which means you end up carrying them with both hands because it's so awkward to carry something as heavy and uncomfortable as a bag with a handle.
