My biggest complaint about bulking shampoo and conditioner is probably the complaint that both get. I have waist-length, fine, baby-like hair. However, it absolutely lacks volume of its own, so I urge you to try different means of increasing volume. Whether it's a styling product, shampoo and/or conditioner, I REALLY expect it to change the texture of my hair. If that doesn't happen, I'm pretty much left with the missing head of hair I already have, right? So I get concerned when reviews come in saying exactly that, complaints that the hair looks "different". em. You asked for something else, didn't you? You wanted volume, right? So, here's what I'm looking at and how I rate this line of products. Shine is important. These products didn't add shine, but more importantly, they didn't reduce the shine I already have. Two thumbs up. Entanglements, another big one. These products didn't make my hair more or less matted. Two thumbs up. What did iron do? My hair was straightened BETTER than without using these products which means it was straightened and beautifully styled and held and frizzy without ADDITIONAL products. Definitely two thumbs up. Finally I think of the smell. My head smells delicious, like a big bouquet of cute Smartie cupcakes. I can't see why that should upset anyone! In summary, my hair has changed a bit AND I EXPECT IT. It seems to have more volume. My ponytail even seems bitterly thicker. Just be aware that good volumizers give your hair a slightly different look. It's the VOLUME you just bought baby!
