Review on πŸ”§ Dremel 9100 21 Forti-Flex Stationary Precision Tool by David Golden

Revainrating 3 out of 5

((PRO)) Assembly was very easy and the machine was quieter than a Dremel 3000.

I make Indian whistles out of catlinite stone and bought these. ((PRO)) Assembly was very easy and the machine was quieter than the corded Dremel 3000 I had. I love the pedal and it makes carving a dream and the speed is more than enough for what I'm doing ((CON)) The 3000 has a push/turn chuck and the 9100 has a spanner wrench. The key works great but it is difficult to turn the handle to a certain point for the key to fit. There's nowhere to put the key when you're done. With the 3000 model you can seat a bit 95% in the chuck, and with the 9100 model only 50%. The Model 9100 cable is not as flexible as the Model 3000. You will need to experiment with the height of the motor before installing the bracket to ensure the best cable position for operation. The pros outweigh the cons. Do you recommend buying it or should I buy another? In a moment

Pros
  • HEAVY DUTY FLEXIBLE SHAFT: Bearing system for maximum durability and cooling.
Cons
  • Can't remember
