((PRO)) Assembly was very easy and the machine was quieter than a Dremel 3000.

I make Indian whistles out of catlinite stone and bought these. ((PRO)) Assembly was very easy and the machine was quieter than the corded Dremel 3000 I had. I love the pedal and it makes carving a dream and the speed is more than enough for what I'm doing ((CON)) The 3000 has a push/turn chuck and the 9100 has a spanner wrench. The key works great but it is difficult to turn the handle to a certain point for the key to fit. There's nowhere to put the key when you're done. With the 3000 modelโ€ฆ

Works well. Hate the Pedal

Bought this for gunsmiths because it's half the price of a Foredom tool and I trust the Dremel brand. It works pretty well. My biggest complaint and disappointment is the pedal's design. The heavy, inflexible cable running from both the right and left sides of the pedal makes it ridiculously difficult to move or adjust to a comfortable position of use. It should be designed with a wire to the pedal. like a sewing machine. But it is not. Very bad design. I know a company like Dremel could haveโ€ฆ

I "loved " this thing

I had an older, larger and more powerful Dremel flex shaft assembly. By far the hardest working flex shaft block I have had, better than the Foredom. Yes, he was smaller than Foredom. But more reliable. April 2016 (change). Okay, it's been a while now and I still like the device. But I am a power swindler and despotic. So the following items are a bit sketchy. Foot Pedal: A cheap plastic that is difficult to manipulate as it doesn't stick to the floor. Unlike the original large flex shaftโ€ฆ
