Works well. Hate the Pedal

Bought this for gunsmiths because it's half the price of a Foredom tool and I trust the Dremel brand. It works pretty well. My biggest complaint and disappointment is the pedal's design. The heavy, inflexible cable running from both the right and left sides of the pedal makes it ridiculously difficult to move or adjust to a comfortable position of use. It should be designed with a wire to the pedal. like a sewing machine. But it is not. Very bad design. I know a company like Dremel could have done better, but it was probably a cost-cutting move. But it drives me crazy every time I use it and put the pedal where I need it. (If you're looking at the picture while scratching your head trying to figure out the wiring. to the wall. The power goes through the pedal and exits on the right side to the jack, which you then plug the Dremel main unit into. The cables are very stiff. When you need to use something, you usually have your hands full and I find myself kicking a tangle of cables to manipulate the pedal. Grrr.)
